Today the kiddos and I put up a tent in the front yard for some extra fun and a change of pace from our usual outdoor play. Starting next week Home Preschool will be in full swing! I will be looking for pop up play tents and tunnels to help keep the home classroom changing. We are also in the last stages of finishing up the organization of the house so we can move onto mudding the living room, and then painting before baby Patton gets here in Sept.

First actual blog

So I'm new at this and not sure how much Ill actually use it but it seems like it could be a great way to catalog where I'm with life and the trials that come with it. Lots of people in my life think I have some magical power at finding awesome things to do with my kids for little to no money but the truth is it takes a ton of hard work, dedication, and most importantly just paying attention to my surroundings. Here goes nothing; I'm going to start keeping track of savings and lesson plans on here for everyone to see and feel free to use or give feedback or ideas for other options. First up on the agenda is lesson plans for Aug. 8th through 12th, as well as couponing for sun and state fair.
